Upon ordering, you will receive an order confirmation email from us. Orders will be processed within 2 business days. All orders usually ship within 3 business days, unless otherwise noted on the specific product page. You will receive an email with tracking information upon shipment.

QuietKat Utility Vehicles (not bikes) are made to order and will ship 2-3 weeks from the purchase date.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable, including our "free shipping" option. 

CANCELLATIONS

We pride ourselves on quick order processing and fulfillment. All canceled orders are subject to the normal return policy. The customer must contact Chargd and obtain an RMA. The bike must be returned to the correct address. 

If the customer refuses delivery of an item, they will be given a refund less the original "free shipping" offer, return shipping costs and a 30% restocking fee. 

Pre-Orders or backordered items cancelled after 24 hours from the time of purchase, will incur a $50 administration fee and a flat 15% restocking fee regardless of the scheduled shipping date. If your item has shipped, it is held to the same policy as mentioned above.

QuietKat products that are pre or backorders CANNOT be cancelled after 48 hours from the date of purchase.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable, including our "free shipping" option. 

There are NO EXCEPTIONS to our cancellation policy.

 

RETURNS

Chargd allows returns to be initiated up to 14 days from the date of product delivery. Please email us at info@chargdelectricbikes.com, to notify us of your intent. All returns will be made directly to the manufacturer of the product, but must be initiated by Chargd Electric Bikes. The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Once a return is processed and accepted by the manufacturer, Chargd will release the return credit. Refunds will be issued only to the card used for payment.

All products MUST be unused, in new condition with no visible defects. All returns will incur up to a 35% restocking fee, deducted from your return. All items must be shipped in their original packaging. The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

If your purchase came with a free gift, the gift MUST be returned as well. Amazon gift cards are non-refundable. All refunded orders that came with an Amazon gift card will be refunded less the price of the gift card.

Exception: We do not accept returns on AddMotor bikes. The AddMotor Bikes come with a 1-year all-inclusive warranty that will be used to replace any parts that are defective or malfunctioning upon delivery. Absolutely No Returns.

Exception: Emojo bikes have a 7 day return policy from the date of delivery. Returns will only be accepted if the manufacturer fails to resolve a mechanical or technical issue. A restocking fee of 35% will be deducted from the return.

 

DAMAGES

Due to the nature of shipping and packaging an electric bike, sometimes damage may occur during shipment. ALL DAMAGE CLAIMS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO info@chargdelectricbikes.com WITHIN 3 DAYS OF DELIVERY.

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, and send us any and all photos of the shipment. If there is visible damage to the package please take photos. Ask the delivery driver to note the damage and ask to file a claim with the shipping carrier.

Please send photos and a description to info@chargdelectricbikes.com and we will process a claim on your behalf. CLAIMS WITH OUT SUPPORTING DESCRIPTIONS & PHOTOS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED. 

 

E-Go Bike strives to make sure their items are accurately described so that people are clearly aware in advance of what they are getting, and anyone who has any doubts or questions, please contact us before placing an order.

Warranty covers items that fail when used within their normal operating parameters.

One Year Limited Warranty Battery/Charger

Batteries and battery chargers have traditionally been our largest source of warranty support. Right now, we are trying to tackle this and are only selling quality lithium packs developed in partnership with Samsung or sinlion. The battery and charger warranty is 1 year, and it would cover things like:

  • Faulty BMS circuits that trips below rated current or cause premature pack cutout
  • Pack that delivers less than 80% of its nominal capacity at a 1C discharge rate
  • Internal cell tab weld coming loose 

Warranty does not cover:

  • Lithium batteries that have self discharged below 2V/cell from being left on the shelf for an extended period of time
  • Water damage, which does not affect the cells but can lead to unreliable BMS circuit behavior
  • Lithium batteries are liable to self-discharge over time because the BMS circuit itself draws current from the battery pack. Although the amount of current is usually small ( < 1mA typically) it is still enough to kill a battery in 1-2 months if it is stored in an initially flat state. If you plan to store a lithium battery, be sure to top it up with a charger at least once two months.

Often, we get issues that are wiring related, such as a fuse holder that starts to melt from being loose, or a connector that gets corroded. In these instances, we will send or replace just the wiring part.

 

One Year Limited Warranty Motor/Controller

This warranty covers material and manufacturing defects in the motor and controller itself, and not issues related to installation. For instance, the following items would not be covered by our motor warranty:

  • Problems resulting from Axle Spin-out
  • Water damage
  • Overheating damage
  • Broken Spokes 

Examples of things that it would cover by motor warranty:

  • Damaged sensors or gears in hub motor
  • Damaged freewheel mechanism
  • Sheared side covers
  • Bad ball bearings
  • Cracked spoke flange
  • Bad connector

 

Motor controllers have a 1 year warranty.

Warranty only covers the controller when used with 36V or 48V battery packs with our own hub motors. Some examples of things that would be covered:

  • Severed wire inside the controller enclosure
  • Random shorted mosfet when not caused from an axle spinout

Things that are not covered:

  • Controller that fails when used with 3rd party motor system
  • Corrosion of connectors from water exposure
  • Controllers that are modified for more than 60V

Controllers that are used with 3rd party motor systems are not covered under warranty. It is possible to have a hub with very low winding resistance (think short circuit) which would fry the controller mosfets when throttling from a stall, as none of the controllers have pulse-by-pulse current limiting to protect them in this situation.

 

6 months Limited Warranty Bicycle for other Components

Anything sold by E-Go not included under motors, batteries, controllers, or charger is covered under 6 months warranty. This includes such items as fork, brake lever, display, throttles, freewheels and miscellaneous connectors/cables/tools. This warranty does not include water damage. These components therein are warranted to the original retail purchaser against manufacturing defects in materials and/or workmanship for a period of 6months from the date of original retail purchase. we would not cover shipping the repaired or replacement part to the customer over 6 months warranty.

 

All claims must be initiated through Chargd Electric Bikes. Please email us with your request.

Chargd works very hard with our suppliers to allow for the most competitive prices found online for all of our electric bikes. We want our customers to be 100% confident that they are receiving the best price available for the product being purchased.

If another store offers a lower price than us within thirty days of purchase, please let us know. We will refund your original payment the difference. If within thirty days, Chargd has a lower price available for the same item you ordered, will will refund that difference as well. 

Simply e-mail us a link to the same product on our website, or on our competitors website within thirty days from the date of your order and we will process the credit accordingly.

There are some limitations that affect our 100% Price Guarantee:

  • The item must be purchased from our website before requesting a price match
  • Buy One, Get One promotions  and rebates are ineligible.
  • The competitor's website must have the item in stock.
  • Brick and Mortar retail locations are ineligible. The competitor must be an online retailer only.

What payment methods are accepted?

How much does shipping cost? 

We currently offer FREE shipping to the contiguous (lower 48) United States on all bicycles. All other locations, including Alaska and Hawaii will require us to provide a shipping quote. Please contact us before placing your order, and we can provide you with the added shipping costs up front.

Can you ship to Canada? 

We can ship X-Treme brand bikes to Canada for a flat rate of $450. Surface 604 bikes ship free. Prodecotech bikes can be shipped on the customer's shipping account, where they will be responsible for all charges. All other brands will require a quote. Please contact us before placing your order, and we can provide you with the added shipping costs up front.

How long does shipping take?

We most often ship via UPS Ground or FedEx. Lighter orders may be fulfilled vis USPS First Class Priority Mail. Most items will ship within 3 business days of purchase and require 3-7 business days of travel time, depending on your location. If you do not receive tracking information within 5 business days, and have not heard from us, please contact us immediately. 

There are some items that take longer to ship. Some ProdecoTech models require 7-10 business days to be built before they're shipped. QuietKat All-Terrain 3-Wheel vehicles require 2-3 weeks to be built before shipping. Any exceptions to our normal policy will be noted on the product page.

Will my bike be assembled when it arrives?

No, it will not be 100% assembled. In order to keep shipping free, all bikes must be packaged in a box. Please check out our ASSEMBLY page for more details!

Does my bike come with a warranty?

Yes, every bike comes with standard with a manufacturer's warranty. However, each manufacturer does have a different warranty program. Please check the warranty tab on the product your inquiring about or visit our WARRANTY page and follow the link to the manufacturer of your bike!

Are there any discounts available?

If the product in question has a discount that is currently activated, there will be a note on the products page, located under the add to cart button or shipping timeline details. If there is any special discounts, they may sometimes be displayed in the yellow notification bar at the top of the website. If you are buying 2 or more bikes at one time, please contact us and we may be able to negotiate a special discount for your order.
