Chargd Electric Bikes offers FREE SHIPPING to the lower 48 United States on all orders $100 or more. If you require shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, or else where, we can provide a quote upon request. Just contact us, here, and we'll get back you as soon as possible! (usually within one business day)

Upon ordering, you will receive an order confirmation email from us. Orders will be processed within 2 business days. All orders usually ship within 3 business days, unless otherwise noted on the specific product page. You will receive an email with tracking information upon shipment.

QuietKat Utility Vehicles (not bikes) are made to order and will ship 2-3 weeks from the purchase date.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable, including our "free shipping" option. 

CANCELLATIONS

We pride ourselves on quick order processing and fulfillment. All canceled orders are subject to the normal return policy. The customer must contact Chargd and obtain an RMA. The bike must be returned to the correct address. 

If the customer refuses delivery of an item, they will be given a refund less the original "free shipping" offer, return shipping costs and a 40% restocking fee. 

Pre-Orders or backordered items cancelled after 24 hours from the time of purchase, will incur a $50 administration fee and a flat 15% restocking fee regardless of the scheduled shipping date. If your item has shipped, it is held to the same policy as mentioned above.

QuietKat products that are pre or backorders CANNOT be cancelled after 48 hours from the date of purchase.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable, including our "free shipping" option. 

There are NO EXCEPTIONS to our cancellation policy.

 

RETURNS

Chargd allows returns to be initiated up to 14 days from the date of product delivery. Please email us at info@chargdelectricbikes.com, to notify us of your intent. All returns will be made directly to the manufacturer of the product, but must be initiated by Chargd Electric Bikes. The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Once a return is processed and accepted by the manufacturer, Chargd will release the return credit. Refunds will be issued only to the card used for payment.

All products MUST be unused, in new condition with no visible defects. All returns will incur up to a 30% restocking fee, deducted from your return. All items must be shipped in their original packaging. The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

If your purchase came with a free gift, the gift MUST be returned as well. Amazon gift cards are non-refundable. All refunded orders that came with an Amazon gift card will be refunded less the price of the gift card.

Exception: We do not accept returns on AddMotor bikes. The AddMotor Bikes come with a 1-year all-inclusive warranty that will be used to replace any parts that are defective or malfunctioning upon delivery. Absolutely No Returns.

Exception: Emojo bikes have a 7 day return policy from the date of delivery. Returns will only be accepted if the manufacturer fails to resolve a mechanical or technical issue. A restocking fee of 35% will be deducted from the return.

 

DAMAGES

Due to the nature of shipping and packaging an electric bike, sometimes damage may occur during shipment. ALL DAMAGE CLAIMS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO info@chargdelectricbikes.com WITHIN 3 DAYS OF DELIVERY.

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, and send us any and all photos of the shipment. If there is visible damage to the package please take photos. Ask the delivery driver to note the damage and ask to file a claim with the shipping carrier.

Please send photos and a description to info@chargdelectricbikes.com and we will process a claim on your behalf. CLAIMS WITH OUT SUPPORTING DESCRIPTIONS & PHOTOS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED.

X-Treme offers a 90-day limited manufacturers warranty on all bicycles and accessories on all models that are purchased from an authorized dealer and up to 180 days on certain listed models. Original purchase receipt required.


X-Treme will NOT offer any warranty on any products purchased from second hand sellers, non authorized Dealers, products purchased used, or products that are purchased via outlet centers. X-Treme will offer free lifetime technical support access on these products & if parts are needed, those parts may be purchased from X-Treme.

The warranty starts the day the bicycle is delivered to you. This warranty covers factory defects and defaults only. We do not cover misuse or broken parts caused by the user or by any other event. We will pay for standard shipping service costs on the first & second warranty shipment only. Any additional warranty parts that are needed will require the customer to pay all shipping costs.

 

Battery Warranty
We offer a full 6-month even trade warranty on defective batteries.

Selected 1 year battery warranty models include:

If any battery should become faulty within the specified warranty period we will replace the battery free of charge. X-Treme requires that defective batteries be returned to us for exchange. X-Treme does not pay the shipping fee's to return the batteries to us however we will pay to ship the replacement batteries back to you..

 

Limited Warranty Details
What is covered & what is not covered:
1. Shipping damage: Should your item arrive with damage that is a direct result of the assigned shipping carriers mishandling, we will replace those damaged parts free of charge under warranty as long as the damage is reported immediately after delivery.  In the event that the damage is determined to be extensive, (digital photos may be required by e-mail), at X-Treme's discretion and after careful consideration, we may arrange to have the item picked up and returned to X-Treme for free replacement.  X-Treme will provide technical support via phone or through our Support Help Desk to assist customers with the replacement of parts but will not pay labor charges to install such parts.
2. Tires, tubes & kick stands: These items are NOT covered unless they are damaged as a result of shipping.
3. During your applicable warranty period: X-Treme will replace any defective part free of charge and free of shipping charge to the end user of the bicycle. We may require certain parts to be returned to X-Treme before replacing those parts. Shipping costs back to X-Treme must be paid for by the end user / customer. Call tags will never be issued.

 

Gasoline Engine Warranty
We offer a 30 day warranty on all gas engines for all models.
We offer a 90 day warranty on select models: XG-575-DS (Signature Series)

"Manufactures defects will only be covered"
1. Engines are covered. Each engine is started, tuned up and tested before we ship the gas scooter to you. Failure to premix oil with the gas voids the engine warranty.
2. Pull starters are not covered. Spare scooter pull starters can be purchased online via our website.
3. Tires, tubes & flat tires are not covered unless damaged during shipping. (Damage must be reported to us immediately.


Defective engines must be returned to X-Treme Scooters at the customers expense & will be replaced if X-Treme Scooters determines the engine is defective due to a factory defect.

Chargd works very hard with our suppliers to allow for the most competitive prices found online for all of our electric bikes. We want our customers to be 100% confident that they are receiving the best price available for the product being purchased.

If another store offers a lower price than us within thirty days of purchase, please let us know. We will refund your original payment the difference. If within thirty days, Chargd has a lower price available for the same item you ordered, will will refund that difference as well. 

Simply e-mail us a link to the same product on our website, or on our competitors website within thirty days from the date of your order and we will process the credit accordingly.

There are some limitations that affect our 100% Price Guarantee:

  • The item must be purchased from our website before requesting a price match
  • Buy One, Get One promotions  and rebates are ineligible.
  • The competitor's website must have the item in stock.
  • Brick and Mortar retail locations are ineligible. The competitor must be an online retailer only.
  • Discounter and auction websites are excluded (ie; eBay, overstock, etc..)
  • The competitor must be an Authorized Retailer of the product in question
  • Shipping charges may be included in the item price, but sales tax is not included.

What payment methods are accepted?

How much does shipping cost? 

We currently offer FREE shipping to the contiguous (lower 48) United States on all bicycles. All other locations, including Alaska and Hawaii will require us to provide a shipping quote. Please contact us before placing your order, and we can provide you with the added shipping costs up front.

Can you ship to Canada? 

We can ship X-Treme brand bikes to Canada for a flat rate of $450. Surface 604 bikes ship free. Prodecotech bikes can be shipped on the customer's shipping account, where they will be responsible for all charges. All other brands will require a quote. Please contact us before placing your order, and we can provide you with the added shipping costs up front.

How long does shipping take?

We most often ship via UPS Ground or FedEx. Lighter orders may be fulfilled vis USPS First Class Priority Mail. Most items will ship within 3 business days of purchase and require 3-7 business days of travel time, depending on your location. If you do not receive tracking information within 5 business days, and have not heard from us, please contact us immediately. 

There are some items that take longer to ship. Some ProdecoTech models require 7-10 business days to be built before they're shipped. QuietKat All-Terrain 3-Wheel vehicles require 2-3 weeks to be built before shipping. Any exceptions to our normal policy will be noted on the product page.

Will my bike be assembled when it arrives?

No, it will not be 100% assembled. In order to keep shipping free, all bikes must be packaged in a box. Please check out our ASSEMBLY page for more details!

Does my bike come with a warranty?

Yes, every bike comes with standard with a manufacturer's warranty. However, each manufacturer does have a different warranty program. Please check the warranty tab on the product your inquiring about or visit our WARRANTY page and follow the link to the manufacturer of your bike!

Are there any discounts available?

If the product in question has a discount that is currently activated, there will be a note on the products page, located under the add to cart button or shipping timeline details. If there is any special discounts, they may sometimes be displayed in the yellow notification bar at the top of the website. If you are buying 2 or more bikes at one time, please contact us and we may be able to negotiate a special discount for your order.
